Playing futsal

For the past few weeks, I have been quite active in futsal. There is not much thing to do in Kuantan. I usually team with my close friends.

Recently, there is this particular guy, who is very fast. He got very good stamina and his leg is super fast. Even before I touch the ball, his leg already reach the ball. Is there any way to handle this fast guy? I was thinking day and night. Playing with such a player will definitely help me to improve. I will try to improve myself so that I can play better than him.

I spend quite a lot for futsal. Each game will cost me between RM6-10. That haven't include drinking session with my friends after futsal. Petrol. Anyway, I like playing futsal, and it is a healthy activity. So that is the money well spend.

Gardenia Bread Tips

I get one forward email today. Quite interesting and I want to share with you all. Usually, when you want to buy bread, you will choose those with the later expiry date. Some even squeeze the bread to test for freshness and softness.

But do you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores 5 days a week? They have a colour coding for each day of delivery.
  • Monday - Blue
  • Tuesday - Green
  • Thursday - Red
  • Friday - White
  • Saturday - Yellow
Don't worry about memorizing the colour code. The colors are arranged alphabetically B,G,R,W,Y. Check this out the next time you go to buy bread.

Taxi problem

I went to KL last Sunday. To my surprise, there are still un-metered taxi. When I asked one of the taxi driver, he said his meter has been broken for ages. All the taxi in the area are also without meter. Then, I ask them to offer me a price to send me to my friend's house, which is about 5KM. Guess how much? He charged me RM20! That is terrible.

I was left with no choice but to take taxi, because there are no bus or train to my friend's house. In the taxi, I found out that they taxi driver rent their taxi from company for 4 years. They have to pay the company about RM40 per day. The rest is their net income.

I will never take unmetered taxi again!

Credit Card Online Offer

For the past 2 days, I was busy planning the upcoming trip with my friend to Awana Kijal Apartment. One of our main concerns is the payment method. We were comparing various credit cards to use for our payment.

We were at a WIFI-enabled café at the centre of the city. After about 30 minutes of finding and comparing various credit card websites, we come across a good website; Credit Card OnlineOffer.

It is so easy to find information from the website. We were amazed by the number of credit cards available and no more hassle to go check from different websites. It is all right in front of us, searching by credit card companies. One of my friends even planned to apply another credit card because the card fulfils his requirement, including no annual fee and low balance transfer.

One of my friends with bad credit history even found one card that is designed to help people with bad credits. The is a whole section for bad credit credit cards. The credit card tips center is very useful. He immediately applied for the card.

Back to our vacation planning, we finally decided to use credit card for our payment method to the vacation. It is so easy, secure, and fast. Now we can really look forward for our relaxation vacation this coming weekend.

Awana Kijal Apartment

Next weekend I will be going to Awana Kijal Apartment with my close friends. This is just a one-day relaxation holiday. We estimate each of us to spend about RM120 for the whole trip. Below is the picture of the apartment that we are going to stay for one night.

For your information, the Awana Kijal Apartment require membership, and luckily my aunt know someone who has the membership there. We are able to great 2 rooms apartment for the price of RM300. In addition, we get to use the facilities of Awana Kijal, including the nice swimming pool.

I want to go eat the famous 'stuffed crab' at Kemaman, because it has been more than 10 years since I last ate it. We also plan to have a BBQ party there, provided there is a facility there. Hope this trip will be a nice and relaxing trip for all of us.
